I wonder how long it will take until western countries have become complete surveillance states. In our modern world it's easier than ever before to establish such a criminal system. And who knows, maybe some day even the oldest instruments like pens will have been infiltrated by the state. Besides, the leap from a surveillance state to a police state can be a very small one.
