Thirteen is my favorite number, so I tought I might do a "special strip" this time. Therefore the suicide attempt was successful. At least as long as the protagonist could still realize it. Besides I like the cyberpunk themes, so I came up with this setting. It must be nicely convenient for a state if it can not only simulate death, but also life. And use this life for it's own purpose. Gives you definitely a certain kind of power. Did you see the sun in the background of the first two panels? Sunset or sunrise? The end of a bright and warm time or the beginning of a new hope? Or is the sun in general nothing else than a propaganda slave of the lightless and cold night to overshine the prevailing darkness? At least it can't prevent the rain from washing away the remnants of a desire for a better world. |
