Yeah, after all number 29 is about February 29. Now I'm satisfied. And hey, it's the mafia. The Italians introduced this day and so they have the right to take it back again.

But good old Pac Man plays also an important role (don't ask what they have in common, I don't know). I love Pac Man, still one of the greatest games ever. When I was on the Games Convention last year I played half the time nothing else than Pac Man, Donkey Kong and Space Invaders. Was an awesome feeling.

When talking of this: Did you see this creepy guy peeping out the canalization? I propose two possiblities who this could be:
First it's simply a mafioso who had enough of fishing the pizza cardboards to eat the dried up rests in it and therefore went underground to make the big money.
Second: If we suppose that the guy dropping the turtle on panel 4 is the same one, it can be no one else than this Italian guy who wanted to become the successor of Pac Man but first had to run around in stinking canalizations and play with boring and sluggish turtles.

Oh, and if you're wondering why Pac Man isn't afraid of the ghost anymore on the last panel: It's dark in the tunnel and so the blue color of the ink gets also darker. If you've played Pac Man I guess you understand what I mean. OK, if you haven't played Pac Man you understand nothing of the last panel because you don't know the power of the dark side, uh, the dark tunnel.
